Join us for our annual complimentary Sunset Yoga class this summer in partnership with KitsFest at Kitsilano Beach as a part of this year’s Summer Yoga Series.
Led by lululemon Ambassador Malina Dawn, this class will be the perfect way to flow into your weekend.
Malina is a queer métis and nehiyaw iskwew (Cree Métis woman). She weaves together the world views of indigenous wisdom and yogic knowledge. You can expect to sweat, feel strong, be held, inspired, moved, grounded and lifted up. Malina centers breath, accessible movement, connection to self and sangha (community). She is known for her rockin’ playlists and sharing yoga and her culture in a way that students learn to embody the teachings and apply them to their lives.
Need-to-know’s:
- Where: Kitsilano Beach (near Rick Hansen playground)
- When: Friday, August 7th from 7:15 pm – 8:45 pm (weather dependent)
- Who: All levels welcome
- Bring: Mat and water bottle (limited mats will be available to borrow)
Please arrive for 7:00pm – this will allow time for you to check in, enjoy complimentary refreshments from some of our community favourites, and mingle with your neighbours.
