KitsFest, in its 16th edition, will be hosting an unprecedented 1st Annual Live Dance Stage with free dance classes for all to enjoy, connect, and get a taste of adding a Latin feel to your wellness rituals. Get ready to participate in the first-ever Outdoor Live Dance Lessons at KitsFest, taking place from August 9- 11th, 2024!

Whether you’re a beginner, an intermediate dancer or a seasoned mover and shaker, these dance classes are designed to accommodate all levels of skill and expertise. Picture yourself immersed in the beauty of Kitsilano, surrounded by the picturesque scenery as you engage in thrilling dance moves with your new found stranger-turned-friends dance partners.

We aim to provide a truly inclusive experience, where  dance enthusiasts can experience the beauty of Latin Dance, come together, learn with one another, and showcase their new hip movements. Whether you have two left feet, no rhythm, or a complete newbie, the dance classes will be an interactive experience that will leave you happier, connected, and excited about dance.

There are 3 different dances, so you can get a taster of each, and see which one is your favourite. You’ll have the chance to learn new moves, connect with other fellow locals, enjoy the music, and delve into a latin dance scene that is very vibrant in Vancouver
